Curvy Union Jack

Sold
30"H x 36"W x 16 1/2"D

Soon after college I was lucky enough to get to live in London for a while with 7 other people from around the world in a 4 bedroom one bathroom flat!  That experience was one of the best times of my life and why I love all things English.  I never get tired seeing the Union Jack on things. I am going to use it in my daughter's room as a bedside table.  It was painted in AS French Linen as a base, then I used Cece Caldwell's Pittsburgh Gray, Simply White, AS Provence, and sealed with clear wax.  I love the combination of gray, white, and blue.

I love that the original finish shows through the paint!

 Awesome original hardware

 Beautiful wood inside the drawers

Not sure what kind of wood it is, but it's solid!

  1. Great piece, Stephanie. I love how you put your own spin on the UJ colors. Beautiful finish to that gray you've chosen (looks a little chalky & velvety to me). I haven't tried CeCe's paints yet. The Ball jars look great on top and that frame? Oh, my my my. Lovely.

    1. Whoops I always forget to hit reply! I saw yours and they are beautiful!! I almost went with AS Louis Blue because I like soft colors, but I let my 11yr. old pick the blue and she went with Provence - so glad I did. :)
