Antique Side Table

Sold
This is an antique pine side table that I found on CL and really liked the detail on it.  I used AS Old Violet with clear wax and a black glaze.  I love other people's blue furniture, but I just can't seem to make myself love blue.  I did buy some blue pillows for my sofa a few weeks ago and got rid of my red ones and it looks much better! Maybe someone else will like blue furniture and give this piece a new home. :)

Curvy Desk

Sold
Another CL find and this one was in perfect shape and is solid wood with dovetail construction!  I stripped and re-stained the top in dark walnut and painted the rest in AS Old Ochre with a little Old White in the insets of the drawers then sanded back.  I then lightly distressed and used clear wax to seal.  I love this color with the dark walnut top.

Something New...

Sold
Or new to me anyway.  :)  I buy my paint at Chalk It Up Norcross and Lynn has the most beautiful hutch she uses for display painted in Old White and dry brushed with Artisan Enhancements Pearl Plaster.  I'm hoping she will post a picture of it at some point.  When I saw her hutch, I had to try this stuff.  I was painting a dresser in a mix of Old White and Old Ochre and knew the pearl plaster would look great on it. It has a subtle metallic sheen to it, I'm not even sure you can tell in the pictures.  It's a solid wood Drexel 9 drawer dresser with dovetail construction (even the back panel is wood).  So here is what it looks like:
