Diamond Dresser

This dresser came with a mirror that is not pictured (but you can have).  It had the date 1923 stamped on the back, so I am guessing that's the year it was made.   It didn't have the original hardware so I found some at Hobby Lobby that I liked.  I painted it in Annie Sloan's Graphite first then a coat of Paris Grey on top and distressed down to the Graphite and sealed with clear wax.  I used Old White and frog tape for the diamonds, then waxed again.  My husband replaced the back and the bottom drawer panel - they were wavy and coming apart while the top two drawers were in perfect condition.  Sadly it didn't come with the casters that were once on it, but you could easily add some from an antique store if you like that look or for some added height.  Perfect size for a buffet in the dining room, changing table in a nursery, or dresser in a bedroom.  The drawers are deep with lots of storage and the top drawer is divided.
