Ballards Inspired Buffet

I found this buffet at my favorite thrift store.  It was solid wood and had dove tailed drawers.  I  got a Ballard's catalog a couple of days later with the following buffet inside:

and I knew what color I wanted to use on this piece! I first sanded down the top and stained it with dark walnut.  I am going to put a satin poly on the top tomorrow.  I used Annie Sloan's Chateau Grey on the rest of the buffet with a little Graphite and Chateau Grey mixed together and dry brushed on top.  I then waxed and added new hardware. This could be used in a dining room as a buffet or in a living room with a TV.  Would also look great with the 2 middle doors off and baskets on the shelves. I really like how it turned out.
