Antique China Cabinet and a sneek peek

***SOLD***

I found this piece on Craig's List, but it had been listed for 1 1/2 months.  I didn't really think they would still have it, but I called and they did!  I was told she had bought it from antique store in Buckhead years ago.  It definitely showed its age, but I thought it was beautiful.  I painted the outside with ASCP in Coco, French Linen, and Pure White, then used clear and dark wax.  I also painted the hardware with Pure White.  The inside was painted with Aubusson and waxed with clear and dark wax.  I saw the color combination here. It has glass in the door, but would also look cute with fabric or chicken wire.   I can see this piece being used as extra storage in a large bathroom, office, or guest room, in addition to a china cabinet.  If only I had an office space in my house this piece would stay with me!  Onto the before and afters:

And a sneek peek of what I will be working on next:

  1. Beautiful color combination. I'm a huge fan of ASCP too. Aubusson is one of my favorite chalk paint colors.
