Dresser in Turquoise

I love this dresser!  It's solid mahogany which meant I had to get out the shellac.  I thought maybe it wouldn't bleed through the blue, but I was wrong.  The drawers didn't need any work at all and glide in and out with ease.  The size of it makes it really versatile. It's painted in a mix of Provence, Pure White, and Aubusson, with a wash on the drawers.

Serpentine Dresser in Old White

Drexel Buffet in Country Grey

Beautiful Drexel buffet painted in Country Grey.  This is the first time I've used this color paint without mixing it with something else.  It's very khaki in color and hard to photograph.  I took one picture with a white pillow in front of it for color comparison.  This piece would look amazing in a nursery as a changing table with a dark wood crib!

This is another CL find, but was located in a thrift store in the town my parents live in so I sent them right over!  It's nice and chunky and really well made. I didn't even have to repair anything, just gave it a good cleaning. Four large drawers for lots of storage and a mix of the Empire and Federal style I think - let me know if I'm wrong.  :)  I mixed Old White with Country Grey to make the Country Grey just a little brighter.  It's my new favorite white, it has a nice depth to it and has more personality than Old White on it's own - pictures really don't do the color justice.
